The Power Sunday School Class

THANK YOU!

It’s our honor to have you visit The Power Sunday School Class Blog at First Baptist Woodstock. My wife Susan and I, along with all of our class members, desire that our class would be a warm, welcoming place and I hope you found that to be the case.

The mission of our class is three-fold:

1. To Reach People – That is, to share what Christ has done in our lives with as many people as possible. As an old saying goes: “Just beggars who found bread telling other beggars where to find it.”
2. To Teach People – We believe that life change happens as we dig deeply into God’s Word. In its pages are timeless truths that speak to today’s challenges.
3. To Minister to People – This is a loving class; a praying class; a helping class. We strive to minister to each other during the joys and the sorrows we all face.

I’m not bashful about saying that should God lead you to our class we would consider it a blessing! Our prayer is that whether it’s our class or another, you will find a Sunday School class in which you can grow, develop, and be loved. When life is at its toughest, God uses believers like those in our class to encourage and come alongside others. He always uses our study of His Word to enrich and stretch our lives.
