The Power Sunday School Class

It can be tempting to think that only servants like pastors, evangelists, and missionaries are "set apart" for serving God’s purposes. The fact is every Christ-follower has been uniquely equipped to play a role in God’s purposes and plans. Tomorrow we will see how the first missionary effort in the church has an application for how each Christ-follower is "set apart" for service. Here are the notes for our study in Acts 13.

Before Christ can change us we have to realize how bad we are and how desperately we need Him as Savior. Some of us receive His gift of salvation with a sensitive and contrite heart that recognizes our sinful state. Others, sort of need more of a "2X4" to our hearts to get our attention.
